Meet Ms. Ostrander

Hi Everyone! My name is Ms. Erica Ostrander and I will either be your child's 6th grade homeroom teacher, Social Studies, and/or ELA teacher this year. I have been teaching for just over 22 years and this will be my 21st year teaching at Nottingham School and I am so excited to see where this year takes us all.

Some of my favorite things to do outside of school with my kiddo are going to the beach, hiking the mountains, camping, traveling, reading, and eating authentic Mexican food!! I find myself to always be a lifelong learner and tend to travel to places that tell a past story. Growing up, my family lived in and traveled to many places, so I love to bring the idea of exploring, whether near or far, into the classroom. I graduated in 2,000 with a Bachelors in Science and Geography, and a certification in Special Education. In the spring of 2,000, I immediately started teaching 6th grade and have never left!
