Greetings!
My name is Heather Meattey. I earned my BS degree in mathematics, from Plymouth State University in 2011. In 2016, I earned an additional certification in Elementary Ed (K-8), through Granite State College.
I have been teaching at Nottingham School for the past 14 years. I spent some time working as the Title 1 math teacher and then I moved onto the 3rd grade team. This year will be my TENTH year teaching 3rd grade and I absolutely LOVE it! 🤓
I live in Strafford, with my partner Andrew. We live on Bow Lake and very much enjoy spending time around the lake and on/in the water. Most importantly, we share our home with our very fluffy pup, Kobe. He is very much the king of our household, but we wouldn't have it any other way! 🩵🐾
Outside of the classroom I enjoy spending my time outdoors doing some canoeing, gardening, and playing with the pup. I especially enjoy the time I get to spend with my nephew Caleb. He is a senior this year and will be graduating from Kingswood High School. 🤯 All of us are HUGE soccer fans, so we enjoy playing and watching soccer together. Especially when we go and support the NE Revolution, go REVS!! It was also a lot of fun (regardless of the outcome), getting to watch Team USA compete in the World Cup this summer! ⚽ 🇺🇲
