Greetings!
My name is Heather Meattey. I earned my BS degree in mathematics, from Plymouth State University in 2011. In 2016, I earned an additional certification in Elementary Ed (K-8), through Granite State College.
I have been teaching at Nottingham School for the past 13 years. I spent some time working as the Title 1 math teacher and then I moved onto the 3rd grade team. This year will be my ninth year teaching 3rd grade and I LOVE it!
I live in Strafford, with my partner Andrew. We share our home with our monstrous cat, Jeffrey and our very fluffy pup, Kobe. We live on Bow Lake and love being in and on the water!
Outside of the classroom I enjoy spending my time outdoors doing some canoeing, gardening, and playing with the pup. I especially enjoy the time I get to spend with my nephew Caleb. He just turned 16 this year and got his license. 🤯 All of us are HUGE soccer fans, so we enjoy playing and watching soccer together. Especially we we go and support the NE Revolution, go REVS!!
I look forward to learning more about each of you and starting this new adventure together!
