  • Wow! Can you believe that we are in the final two weeks of the school year?! Time sure does fly... please remember that we will be learning and working up until the last day of school, so it is important that we are here on time and staying focused on school and assignments.
  • This Tuesday, May 10 is the out-of-uniform day for the classes who brought in their goal number of items for the April Showers Collection Drive. Both 5th and 6th can be out-of-uniform on this day! Thank you to all who helped and brought in items. As a school, we doubled our goal: over 1,500 items in total!!! ❤❤❤
  • This coming Thursday, May 10 is our Spring Concert at 6:30pm in the McCormick Center. Please be sure to have your child there early (by 6:15) and dressed in their Sunday best clothing :) We are looking forward to an entertaining evening.
  • On Friday, May 11, we have our annual Field Day! This event will be held entirely at the St. Augustine's Campus. Please bring students to St. A's at normal time (arrive by 7:50am). We will begin our day in the gym, then will have Mass, and continue with the schedule for the day. Students must also bring a cold lunch and should dress in team colors (athletic shorts of appropriate length are acceptable). There will be After-Care available at the St. Augustine campus.
  • The following Wednesday, May 16 is the Catholic Schools Picnic. It will be held at Althoff Catholic High School. Please be on the lookout for more information soon!
  • 5th & 6th grade parents, please check and sign/initial your child's assignment book every night. If your child had a Behavior Code marked for the day, I will put this into the assignment book. By signing the assignment book, you are double-checking homework and helping to monitor behavior at home. Thank you :) Also, please check folders for any important papers.
  • If your child would like to bring in a special treat for their birthday, please know that they are more than welcome to celebrate this way! I just ask that you let me know ahead of time (email is great) so that I can plan it into our schedule. Also, if plates or other utensils are needed, please send those to school so that I do not have to give up class time finding these things.
  • Please remember that teachers update grades on www.gradebookwizard.com regularly. We suggest you check grades often to keep up with your child's progress. Thanks!
  • I love to reward my classes, but I am often limited on funds. If any parents/grandparents would be willing to donate to my class rewards, that would be fantastic! I am always looking for candy (a favorite among many students), small prizes (i.e dollar store toys, prizes), and pencils/erasers. Any donation would be much appreciated. Thank you.
  • Mark your calendars:
    • May 10: Spring Concert
    • May 11: Field Day @ St. Augustine Campus
    • May 17: Graduation 7pm
    • May 18: Last Day! 11am dismissal

Timed Test Passports (DIVISION for the 4th quarter) will continue this quarter. I have already seen many students struggling with these basic facts. Please take the time review basic division facts (0-12s) with your students at home.
