KindergartenWeb Page - May 1st - 15, 2018

Dear Parents:
I can’t believe this will be my last newsletter for the school year….where did the time go! Thank you so much for giving me the best gift of all—teaching your child.  I was so blessed to have a wonderful class. The children have worked hard this school year.

Also, a big thank you to all the parents who went on our field trip to the Science Center. The children had a great time. Thanks again for spending time with us.
You're the Best!!

I would like to personally thank you for your sympathy cards, kind words, and the cute canvas fingerprint artwork.  I am so grateful to have such a caring and thoughtful class and parents too.

Field Day – May 11, 2018 @ St. Augustine's Campus

Last week you should have received information and your child's team color about our annual Field Day, which will be held on Friday, May 11.  The kindergarten students will be paired up with their 8th Grade Buddies. The events will take place at St. Augustine's Campus. Please bring your child to the St. Augustine's Campus instead of the Cathedral Campus at the same school time...extended care will only be at the St. A's campus. No hot lunch ---bring a cold lunch preferably disposable bag. Make sure your child wears the team color and they are allowed to wear non-uniform shorts/pants. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this event.

School Picnic @ Althoff --- Wednesday, May 16, 2018

We will be going to Althoff Catholic High School for a school picnic on May 16. The bus will be picking us up around 9:10 a.m. The pep rally begins at 10:00 a.m. You must pick up your child up after the pep rally at the back of Althoff around 10:20 a.m. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to chaperone your child at the picnic. You and your child may leave at any time. I will be sending home more information about the picnic....exact meeting area, permission slip, adult picking up your child after the pep rally, and purchasing tickets. There will be no rain date in case of inclement weather....we will just have regular classes instead.

Report cards will not be sent home with your child on the last day of school.  Report cards can be picked up June 4th, 5th, 6th, or 7th from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
