Althoff High School is holding Freshman Orientation on Thursday, February 21st and Friday, February 22 from 3:30-8:30 p.m.

February 15 - Teacher In-Service Early Dismissal at 11:00 a.m.

5th Grade Social Studies- Unit 4 The Thirteen Colonies

We are starting each class period with a Map Skill practice to help the students with their understanding of maps. We will take our test over Unit 4 on Friday, February 22.

6th Grade Social Studies- Chapter 8 Ancient Greece

In Chapter 8, we are learning about the Ancient Greek Gods. The students are also studying the Greek architecture.

7th Grade Social Studies- Chapter 8 The Constitution

Our test over Chapter 8, The Constitution will be Friday, February 22.

8th Grade Social Studies- United States Constitution

Congratulations to the 8th grade students on a job well done on the U.S. Constitution test! We will begin working on the Illinois Constitution on Tuesday, February 20.

7th & 8th Grade English- Descriptive Writing

This week we are focusing on Descriptive writing.  We are getting a chance to use our skills at trying to paint a picture with our words.

Elective- Life Skills This week we will be focusing on letter writing and banking skills.
