The goal of the NRHS Music Department is to foster musically valid and creative experiences, both on and off the stage, that encourage all aspects of the students’ growth as musicians. We also seek to help each student achieve individual goals that are appropriate to levels of performance, skill, and interest.

As our music students advance in grade through the district, they become able to participate in more activities, both during and after school.  Please see the course and activity descriptions to learn more.

If you have any questions at all during the year about your child's progress in any of our music ensembles or classes, please contact the teacher directly.  Secondary students' grades can be accessed through the Parent Portal; if you are not signed up, please contact the main office of your child's school.
