Step Up Day - 6th Grade

posted Apr 20, 2015, 11:29 AM by Michelle Connor

 When: May 4, 10:00 - 1:30
-- A day for all of the 6th grade students within the district to begin their
    transition to the Junior High.
-- Small groups of students will be matched with a 7th grader teacher to tour
the building, ask/answer questions, sit-in on classes, etc.
-- Band and Choir will perform.
-- Students will have lunch at Junior High.
-- 6th grade teachers will be asked to shadow a group of students. Sharing
this experience will allow the teachers to answer some of the questions
that may arise once students are back in our building.
-- While the 6th grade students are "stepping up" to 7th grade for the day, the 7th graders
will be meeting the 8th grade teachers, and the 8th graders will be at the High School.
