Dear Parents and Guardians;

Welcome to the 2018-19 school year! I am excited to get the new year underway. I wanted to reach out and introduce myself to you.

I am a 2001 graduate of Morrisonville High School, and a 2006 graduate of Eastern Illinois University with certifications in Elementary Education and Special Education. I taught Special Education for 9 years at Taylorville High School. I relocated to Nokomis for the 2015-16 school year and co-taught English 10 & 12 with Mrs. Klinefelter and Algebra and Geometry with Mrs. Satterlee. In Summer 2016, I earned my Middle School Endorsement and 9-12 Math Certification. I was hired by NCUSD 22 and split my teaching between HS Pre-Algebra, Geometry, Study Hall and 8th grade Pre-Algebra and Study Hall. For the 2017 school year, I taught 7th grade math, 8th grade Pre-Algebra, and H.S. Algebra Essentials, and will continue this year.

I married David Doyen in 2006 and we have two children; Izaak, 10 and Ilexia, 8. We currently reside in Coalton.

I am excited to continue my teaching carer in the Nokomis community where we are raising our children!

I am looking forward to educating your child, and pushing them to their highest potential.

Thank you so much for your time, and looking forward to meeting you,

Mrs. Doyen
