The Northern Humboldt Indian Education Program, Title VI, is a consortium of nine school districts that include Big Lagoon, Trinidad, McKinleyville Union, Fieldbrook, Blue Lake, Jacoby Creek, Arcata Elementary, Pacific Union and Northern Humboldt Union High School District.

Upcoming Events:
Students in the McKinleyville High School Native American Club are busy planning the “Success in Both Worlds” Native American Youth Conference.  This is a bi-annual conference that the MHS Club has been organizing since 1993. The date for the Conference is April 3, 2019 and will be held on the McKinleyville High School campus. If you would like to be a co-sponsor or donate time to help with this event, please contact Pectasan Feliz at pfeliz@nohum.k12.ca.us.

Past Events:
On Tuesday, March 20, 2018, a Culture/Activity Night was held at Potawot Health Village. Families enjoyed  a "Nacho Bar" provided by the McKinleyville High School Native American Club and members served as mentors. There were math and language arts games to play and take home, beading, pictures, a cupcake walk and storytelling by Lyn Risling.  Students also took home reading and activity books.
