Nodaway Valley Community School District
On July 1, 2000, these two districts—Greenfield and Bridgewater-Fontanelle Community School Districts—became the Nodaway Valley Community School District. Patrons voted to consolidate the two districts on September 14, 1999.

The Nodaway Valley School District is located in southwest Iowa in Adair County. The district encompasses 283 square miles, serves approximately 650 students and employs 60 teachers. Elementary students in Grades PK-4 attend classes in Greenfield, middle school students—Grades 5-8—are located in Fontanelle and high school students are located in Greenfield.
Our school mascot is the Wolverine, and our school colors are purple, black and silver.
