Why a Summit on Community Violence?

The New Mexico Attorney General's Office, in partnership with Grand Canyon University, is conducting a community summit on violence in our communities.  The summit offers people an opportunity to learn and talk about important issues that plague our communities and affect our lives, especially our young people.  This summit features speakers who are community leaders fighting for the rights of victims of crime.  Attendees will learn about dating violence, legal rights for teens, human trafficking, gun violence, cyber bullying, and hate crimes.

Please plan to attend this timely and important summit on Thursday, August 1, 2013. Remember, community violence affects us all.
