New Kent County offers full library services in each of our schools. Each library supports a range of student literacy and research activities.
At the elementary level all students have weekly resource classes in the library. Students have the opportunity to check out books and read for pleasure and for learning. In addition our libraries support student use of technology and incorporate technology into library-based instructional activities. Each of our libraries also supports a variety of other reading activities and incentives for students. Please find below a link to each of our school libraries:
All New Kent students, through our library services, also have access to Grolier Online (username: newkent, password: home) reference sources.
Each of our libraries utilizes an on-line catalog system called Destiny. Students, teachers, and parents can access each library's holdings via this link.
Students at New Kent High School can also access the Gale Databases (password: schools) and can access AP Source for many additional reference and research sources.
