New Kent County partners with both Rappahannock Community College to offer dual enrollment courses for advanced high school students. Dual enrollment courses allow students to earn high school credit and transferable college credits while still enrolled in high school.
New Kent High School currently offers the following academic dual enrollment courses:
Students will also have the opportunity to take dual enrollment Career and Technical Education courses at the Bridging Communities Technical Center, beginning in the fall of 2012. These courses will allow students to earn high school and community college credit in 7 different program areas, allowing students to work toward Community College certificates while still enrolled in high school.
