About me

I have taught for over thirty years in a variety of schools (urban, suburban, and rural).  In that time, I have taught English in every grade from sixth through college levels.  I have also work in administration and for the state and federal education departments.
I attended a small, private liberal arts college in Pennsylvania:  Albright College.  After my undergraduate degree, I went to New York to the City University of New York for work in theatre.  I complete my masters degree at Kutztown University followed by administrative work at Temple University.  I have also taken classes at the University of Maryland and The College of William and Mary.
When I am not reading for class or grading your compositions, I am enjoying my garden and cooking.  This summer, my husband and I completed an extensive trip to northern Alaska where we visited two of the most remote national parks.  Ask me about life above the Arctic Circle!
