Bio:
Arta is Professor Emeritus from Bucks County Community College as a member of the STEM Department.  She continues to teach Mobile Application Development (app inventor) and Introduction to Information Systems for BCCC in online format.   As a faculty advisor for MyItLab, Arta helps professors from various colleges customize the Pearson product for both online and blended courses.  She has volunteered at local middle school as mentor of 7th grade students in development of an “award winning” application. As a member of App Inventor Faculty Training Corps, Arta is proud to be working with MIT Currently, she is serving as President of PA4C, Community College Computing Consortium of Pennsylvania.  “Rewirement, not retirement”.

30 minute Android App using MIT App Inventor 
Just Like Rachel Ray's 30 minute meals, I will show you how to create a 30 minute Android App using MIT App Inventor.  You and your students can be Creators of apps, not just Consumers!   You don't have to be a nerd or a geek, but they are welcome too. 

Recommended Software/Applications:
Participants need a PC laptop, MAC laptop or similar device for program development. (web based tools)  MIT Companion for AI2 should be installed on Android device (Free at google play).  Pair programming is encouraged, so 2 people can work together.
