New breakfast program : There will be whole wheat bagels, mini pancakes, mini French toast, breakfast pizza, yogurt and cereal. Muffins and drinks will not be sold during Breakfast or lunch. Bottled water will still be available during breakfast and lunch.
Early Sports Release: No known early dismissals
The girls modified basketball team won their last game of the season yesterday against Myers. The game was a very close game with Niskayuna only in the lead by a few points. In the 4th quarter, the girls took charge and played aggressively to beat Myers 28-25. What a great way to end the season girls!
There will be a mandatory meeting for anyone planning on trying out for baseball this spring on Wednesday 3/1 after school in the gym. All 7th and 8th graders planning on trying out should plan on attending. The meeting should last for about 15-20 minutes. Any questions, contact Coach Bianchi in room 216.
Anyone interested in joining the boys tennis team in the spring must attend a mandatory informational meeting at the high school on Wednesday, March 1st at 3:30pm in room B234 at the high school near blatnick gym. The meeting will run until 4pm. After school you will take the shuttle bus to the high school. The meeting will run until 4pm. Please have your parents pick you up near the pool area at 4pm.
Anyone attending the 7th grade art trip to Mass MoCA and the Clark:

Any new members who are interested in joining art club you are welcome to join us with group 2 next Thursday, February 16th. Group 1 will meet this Thursday, February 9th.
It's time for the annual Open Door Bookstore Children's Writing Contest! This year we present the following scenario:
"You are walking along a beach. You pick up a bottle. There's a message in it! What does it say? What happens next? Make up a story about what you find and what follows after you find the message in the bottle. We can't wait to read your story!"
Entries due before March 2, 2017.

The date for St Baldrick’s has just been announced- April 30 at Proctors. Want to get your head shaved for cures for cancer and fundraise at the same time? If interested, talk to your parents about signing up for Mr. Pletman's team called "Bald by Choice" by going to St. Baldricks.org and let's build a team. Last year over 25 students participated with Mr. Pletman. You will need a parent to sign you up on-line so you can be listed as a team member and start your fundraising goal! Let's be bald on April 30th !!!!
