Technology Support Specialists

Technology Support Specialists (TSS) are assigned to NISD campuses to provide technology training and support on NISD hardware and software used by campus-based staff. Some of the duties of the TSS include:

  • training & support for the electronic grade book
  • training & support for Google applications
  • campus webmaster
  • management of updates to student mobile devices
  • technology set up for online testing
  • hardware troubleshooting

Secondary campuses have a full time TSS, while elementary campuses share a TSS. All TSS have a minimum of an Associate's Degree or equivalent college hours and two or more years experience using technology in a work environment.
