General information and expectations for each class:
Students in the 7th and 8th Grade English classes are expected to learn the TEKS (Texas Education of Knowledge and Skills) and Scope and Sequence for their appropriate grade level. Students will be able to perform skills and relate facts involving reading and writing about stories, poems and passages in class. Students must be able to evaluate questions, read material, analyze poetry and choose the correct answers to help them transfer these skills to everyday problems and life skills.
