Physical Education Curriculum:                                        
The purpose of physical education is to give you some daily exercise and more importantly, develop lifelong skills and knowledge of fitness, nutrition and well being through physical, mental, and social development. You will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of team and individual activities and activities designed to help you improve and maintain your fitness level.

Health Curriculum:                                                                          
This course will help all students become informed, independent decision makers capable of planning for future enjoyable lifetime health. Major topics and content that will be learned in this course are leading a healthy life, skills for a healthy life, nutrition for life, self-esteem, mental health, alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, HIV / AIDS, and CPR certification are to name a few. After this course, each student should know the value and benefits of living a healthy life style for a lifetime.
Weight Training I  Curriculum:                                          
Weight Training 1 is designed to give students the opportunity to learn weight training concepts and techniques used for obtaining optimal physical fitness. Students will benefit from comprehensive weight training and cardio-respiratory endurance activities. Students will learn the basic fundamentals of weight training, aerobic training, and overall fitness training and conditioning. 

Weight Training II  Curriculum:                                         
Weight Training 2 is designed to provide each student with the knowledge needed to understand the importance of strength and fitness training. Students will understand the importance of setting goals for personal improvement and achievement and will leave the class with a lifelong understanding of how to maintain adequate physical fitness for a healthy lifestyle. Students will be empowered to make wise choices, meet challenges, and develop positive behaviors in fitness, wellness, and movement activity for a lifetime.
