General information and expectations
Students will be expected to uphold all rules, procedures, and expectations as dictated by the student hand book and administrative policies. The teacher will also be expected to uphold the rules, procedures, expectations, policies, and laws of Northside Independant School District and the state of Texas.

About me... My experience in education stems from the seeds of youthful inquiry and has blossomed into a dedicated and passionate career. I am a product of Northside as a graduate of Taft High School. As a young parent, I decided to attended and graduate from St. Philip's College with my Associates in Arts, majoring in Liberal Arts. From there, I soared through the education program at Texas State University in San Marcos, where I crossed the stage for the third time with my Bachelors in Arts, majoring in English education.
I began teaching as an Instructional assistant at Holmes High School. Then I was asked to join the staff at Kennedy High School in the Edgewood School District, where I continued to teach in grades 9th through 11th as an English teacher for Pre-AP, modified, and AP classes over the following four years. My return to Northside is where my heart has always been and I hope to continue the inspiration, that was instilled within myself, with the students who will walk through my classroom door.
