Welcome to Sahabi Land!

Hello there!!! My name is Shannon Sahabi and I teach AP Environmental and Earth & Space Science.  This is my 11th year at Clark High School and 16th year in Northside ISD.  I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'Em!!!) with a B.S. in Education.  I also have an M.A. from the University of Incarnate Word in Multidisciplinary Sciences and an M.S. in Geological Sciences from Mississippi State University.  I will graduate with a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (specializing in Science Education) through Texas Tech University in 2017.  I have been married for over 13 years to my husband, who is from Tunisia (North Africa). We have an 12-year-old daughter who is in seventh grade this year in NISD and a three-year-old daughter.  I like football, soccer, Spurs playoff basketball and tennis. I love to read, cook, learn languages, travel and watch movies, particularly horror and mystery.  Please email or call me with any questions as I am here to help.  Scroll down to see pics if you like!

The expectation is that you will engage with the content, me and your peers at a high level.  I guarantee you will learn in this class! To ensure that guarantee, you need to bring three things to class each day: I will think; I will try; I will participate. If you bring those three things, I guarantee that you will succeed.

Good luck in APES, ESS, or Physics!!
