About me...I am a San Antonio native and a product of both NISD and NEISD schools. I graduated from Baylor University with a B.A. in Sociology in 1993 and I received an M.Ed. from the University of Illinois in 2011. This is my 21st year teaching at Clark.

I like the Chicago Cubs, Norway, Michael Card, photography, Dr. Pepper, David Wilcox, cinnamon rolls with raisins from Broadway Daily Bread, Macatawa, Michigan, James Taylor, Iowa, Ben Rector, Garrison Keillor, and listening to EconTalk, This American Life, Radiolab, and 99% Invisible, among other things and in no particular order.

On a more personal note, I've been happily married to my high school sweetheart for more than 23 years. My wife is a former nurse and homeschool teacher, and is now an attorney. Our daughter is a junior at Baylor this year. Our oldest son is a freshman at Pepperdine. The other boys are in 11th and 10th grade.
