Rules & Expectations

BE ON TIME

  • Be in the classroom, ready to learn, by the time the bell rings.
  • Bring a pass if you’re late.
  • If you’re late, enter the classroom without interrupting learning.
BE RESPECTFUL
  • Respect the teacher, the other students, and the equipment in the classroom.
  • Speak in a respectful tone.
  • Listen when others are speaking.
BE RESPONSIBLE
  • Bring all your class materials with you every day.
  • Stay focused and participate.
  • Ask for help when you need it.
BE SAFE
  • Stay in your seat until excused.
  • Keep the aisles clear.
  • Avoid conflicts with peers.

Missed Work:  In the event of an absence it is your responsibility to find out what you missed and turn it in on time.  You are responsible for getting notes from your classmates or a handout if available.  If your absence is anticipated (doctor’s appointment, field trip, sporting event, etc.), see me before your absence to discuss the work you will miss.

Missed Test:  Every effort should be made to attend class on the day of a test.  If you miss a test, it is your responsibility to arrange to make it up within 3 school days of returning to school.  Tests cannot be made up during class time.

Acceptable Use Policy Guidelines will be reviewed in class and are expected to be followed on a daily basis.
