Starting out my professional golf career in 2005 I worked as an Assistant Professional at Blairgowrie GC before moving to the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa, St Andrews in 2006. During the next three years I completed the PGA Foundation Degree programme becoming a fully qualified PGA Professional.
I am always looking for ways to improve my knowledge and experience. In October 2010 I achieved PGA 'AA' status through my continued professional development and have since passed the Advanced Certificate in Golf Coaching from the University of Birmingham and achieved the PGA/UKCC Level 3 coaching qualification.
In 2012 I attended the PGA Advanced Rules of Golf CPD course and joined the PGA Rules Panel before going to the Tournament Administrators and Referees School in 2015. I was the co-founder and Tournament Director of the Ladies Tartan Tour sponsored by the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre which ran from 2013 - 2015. I now work as a Tournament Director for the PGA and in 2018 was awarded Advanced Professional status.
