Chromebooks and Google Docs

What is a Chromebook?

A Chromebook looks and operates much like a laptop, but it isn’t really a laptop!  It’s a device that allows students access to the apps and resources available on the web, real time collaboration with other students and teachers, ability to do research, create documents and presentations, and much more! All work is stored in the “cloud” which allows for easy access and sharing of information.

What is Google Docs?

Google Docs is a freeware web-based office suite offered by Goggle within its Goggle Drive service.  It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating with other users live.  Google Docs also has a spreadsheet and presentation features.
