The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is established in schools throughout Pennsylvania to provide schools with the means to identify and refer students who may be at risk. PATHS is our Middle School Student Assistance Program and HOPE is our High School Student Assistance Program. SAP is supported by the Pennsylvania Department of Education Division of Student and Safe Schools services in partnership with Pennsylvania Departments of Health and Welfare. The heart of the program is a professionally trained team of educators and liaisons from community agencies who team with parents to address issues that pose barriers to student welfare and learning. The PATHS team at the middle school and the HOPE team at the high school follow the directive of the Pennsylvania SAP guidelines, professional standards, and the policies and procedures adopted by our local School Board of Directors. |
