Welcome to the Forest Hills Global Art Program!

I am excited for another colorful year( 2020-2021)! We will start the year virtually by using the platform Seesaw for grades k-2(how to instructions) and Google classroom for grades 3-5. Through these platforms, students will participate in activities that encourage them to analyze and interpret global works of art and include hands-on experiences. Through each lesson, students will be encouraged to express their ideas and experiences and to explore a range of techniques,skills and,media that support visual communication and the NC Art standards. Each week a new lesson will be posted on the virtual platforms and I will provide personal feedback to each turned in assignment, and respond to any questions that may arise( I love questions, and am very happy to help!

Individual student work can be viewed in virtual folders on seesaw and google classroom, AND select works from K-5 will be posted under the " Gallery" link on this web-page, take a look! I look forward to getting to know each student this year through the visual arts!!
