Rita Pierson said it best in her Ted Talk about her beliefs on Education that, "every child deserves a champion: an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the best they can possibly be." I firmly believe this to be true which is one of the many reasons education chose me and I gladly accepted. I am very excited to be working with such an awesome team at a great school. It is my mission to develop healthy, long-lasting relationships and meet each student right where they are then help them strive to achieve far more than what they could ever possibly imagine. Since we live in a diverse world, it is only right that I provide equitable, explicit and inclusive instruction to all. Here at Trask, we want all students to feel that they Belong-are Enough-are Able and that they are Just Right! 

My husband and I are from Greensboro, NC and are graduates of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, AGGIE PRIDE!! We have two amazing kids and last year adopted the most amazing dog named Major.
