We will read, write, think, and talk every class period. All students are expected to participate in class discussions as well as complete and submit all classwork on time.
If a student is absent, it is the student's responsibility to seek out missed work and complete any written assignments upon their return. There is a folder system located in the "student center" bookcase. All missed paper copies are placed in that day's folder. The student should get a copy and complete anything that was missed. Electronic copies will be posted to Google Classroom.

Every unit will include classwork and journaling activities, Vocabulary Quiz, and a Project/Unit Test.

Work is due on the due date. I do not give homework, but I do expect work to be completed in a timely manner. If students do not finish an assignment in class, they are expected to finish at home. No late work is accepted after the Unit is completed.
Projects have a due date assigned when handed out. Ample time is given to complete projects. If a student chooses to not turn in on time, points will be deducted each day. It will not be accepted after 2 days.

Students will be asked to join my Google Classroom in order to complete digital activities throughout the year. It is also a location to find all missing classwork. If a student is absent, hardcopies of materials will be available in the classroom.
