Mrs. Kotz

Hi! My name is Margaret (McLaurin) Kotz and welcome to Second Grade!

A little about me... I grew up here in Wilmington but attended college at East Carolina University - GO PIRATES! I attended ECU from 2009-2013 and am currently enrolled in a master's program through ECU. I taught in Greenville for a year before moving back to Wilmington. This is my seventh year at Pine Valley and my eighth year of teaching, all in second grade. Pine Valley is the best place to be and I am looking forward to a great year!

In my free time, I like to read, travel, exercise, go to the beach, spend time with my family, paddle board, and ride my bike. We have one dog, Tucker, who is 4 years old. My husband and I are expecting our first baby in May!
