Accountability

Accountability is a class that meets once per week on the campus of UNCW. Classes are offered for the entire day except during the lunch hour. In the fall, Accountability is reserved for seniors and spring for juniors. The course is designed to provide guidance on how to navigate the college application process, scholarships, CFNC (College Foundation of North Carolina), Financial Aid and other academic resources pertinent to students' success. Early exposure to the college experience and preparation for higher education is one of the goals for our students. In addition, a comprehensive support system for our students to develop academic and social skills necessary for college completion is highly encouraged for their success. Our ultimate goal is for our students to graduate with an equivalent amount of transferable credit by the end of high school and attend college.
