We're finally here! This week is going to be a soft opening to the course because I know this is something "new" for everyone and I do not want to overwhelm anyone during these crazy times! Below is a link to Canvas where you will get all your course information, announcements and assignments. This website will be used more for basic information for the class, but Canvas is where you will get all of your assignments, where you sign in for attendance and announcements. Also sorry for the delay this morning! Canvas has been running slow due to everyone in the county attempting to get on all at once, but if you are able to get on you should now be able to see my class! My Advice

Set a schedule for yourself (your student): You are young adults, it is more important than ever that you take charge of your education, HOLD YOURSELF ACCOUNTABLE.

Set daily goals: Make a list of all of the things you need to do, do what you like the least first, then move on the the rest. It's a lot easier to get the boring (but important) things out of the way so you can enjoy the more fun tasks!

Be proactive: What does that even mean? Don't just wait for something to happen, make it happen. If you are confused, then ASK QUESTIONS!

Create small study groups: Using appropriate social distancing or meeting virtually, meet with people in your class (safely), meet with peers who excel where you struggle. Find a tutor if it is in the budget.
