WIDA ACCESS TEST PREPARATION 1st - 5th Grades (PREPARACIÓN PARA LA PRUEBA WIDA ACCESS 1° - 5° Grados)
My goal is to help English Language Learners (ELLs) become proficient in all four domains (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) of English as quickly and enjoyably as possible. Students will learn social language, as well as the language of language arts, math, science, and social studies.
I encourage students to add English to their native language, not replace it. Learning to speak multiple languages is so beneficial to students, as it broadens their connections and opportunities.
Additionally, I aim to foster pride in each student's heritage. We celebrate the countriesand cultures with which our students and their families identify, as well as a variety of others.
Last, but certainly not least, I help the students plan and see themselves as successful adults by exposing them to the benefits of higher education and career readiness programs.

Mi objetivo es ayudar a los estudiantes del idioma inglés (ELL, por sus siglas en inglés) a dominar los cuatro dominios (escuchar, hablar, leer y escribir) del inglés de la manera más rápida y agradable posible. Los estudiantes aprenderán el lenguaje social, así como el lenguaje de las artes del lenguaje, las matemáticas, las ciencias y los estudios sociales.
Animo a los estudiantes a agregar inglés a su idioma nativo, no a reemplazarlo. Aprender a hablar varios idiomas es muy beneficioso para los estudiantes, ya que amplía sus conexiones y oportunidades.
Además, mi objetivo es fomentar el orgullo por la herencia de cada estudiante. Celebramos los países y culturas con los que se identifican nuestros estudiantes y sus familias, así como una variedad de otros.
Por último, pero no menos importante, ayudo a los estudiantes a planificar y verse a sí mismos como adultos exitosos al exponerlos a los beneficios de la educación superior y los programas de preparación profesional.
