I attended school at Elkader Central, graduating in 1978. | I graduated from the University of Dubuque in 1983, but attended Luther, Creighton, and the University of New Mexico before that. I graduated with a major in Elementary Education, a minor in English and P.E., and my coaching degree. While in college, I played both basketball and softball. I coached at the elementary and high school level for several years, but have recently given up that part of my life. I enjoy art, gardening, cooking, spending time with my family, and TEACHING, or course. I started teaching here at North Fayette in the spring of 1987, and met and married my husband Don in 1990. We live a couple of miles outside of Fayette on a farm, where we raise crops, cattle, and pigs. We have four children: Deric, Donnie, Britlyn, and Ramey. We also have four granddaughter, Ella, Lauryn, Braylee and Alexandra (Lexi) and three grandsons Lucas, Kelby, Quentin. Another grandchild is expected this fall. | I've taught for 37 years, but am presently teaching 4th for my eighth year. |
