MISSION STATEMENT
It is the mission of ISD #88 Buildings and Grounds to provide a clean, safe, secure, and trusting environment for students, staff, and the New Ulm area community to grow, learn and work in.
The Facilities Department is responsible for the maintenance, event set up, and cleaning of all the districts buildings, athletic fields and grounds. The Facilities Department consists of 4 building Lead Custodians, 1 Lead Maintenance Engineer, 1 Lead Groundskeeper, and 15 custodians, maintenance and grounds staff. The department is also responsible to help develop and implement short and long range plans for school facilities, grounds and equipment, and to oversee Capital projects and ensure compliance with applicable life safety and building codes.
