The Day of Silence is a national youth movement protesting the silence faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and their allies. Many of these students are bullied into silence and this is NOT okay.
This is a day to support LGBTQ+ people who don't feel that they can speak about their identity. Often people are harassed for their gender or sexuality, and they begin to think that it is wrong to be who they are.
We need to show them that's not true.
