How to Colonize Ganymede



Let humans scratch the surface

of this moon larger than Mercury,

planting their flags, posturing.


Beneath his icy surface,

a buried breadth of oceans,

layer on liquid layer.


Save those for the whales.

Let them bring light.

Let them sing.
