Nevada Regional Technical Center is one of fifty-eight Career and Technical Education Centers in Missouri. We serve high school students, as well as adult students. We serve seven sending districts and Nevada as our home district. Districts include: Nevada, Bronaugh, Butler, El Dorado Springs, Hume, Miami, Northeast Vernon County and Rich Hill School Districts. It is our goal to prepare students for the demands of industry and post-secondary education. Culinary STAR Events
Six Culinary Arts teams from Nevada, Carthage, and McDonald County competed in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America STAR event at NRTC. NRTC culinary arts instructor Louise Lunkenheimer says a Nevada team of Luke Fritts, Raymond Dunfield and Megan Carlson won a gold medal and qualified for state competition. The other Nevada team of Jayden Douglas, Treyton Ropelato and Jacob Jackson earned a silver medal. A Carthage team earned the second gold medal and qualified for state, and the McDonald County teams earned silver medals.
