Here's what some of our alumni are up to!
Since I stopped singing with CCC, I graduated high school in 2002 and moved on to college at Fredonia State. I received a Bachelor's Degree in English in May of 2005 and a Master's Degree in English and Literature in December of 2006. I am currently pursuing another Bachelor's in French, since I can't seem to leave school. I plan on working in international business, teaching English as a second language, or finding a use for my language aptitude with the US Government. I haven't been to France yet, but I plan to go as soon as funds will allow. I'm also considering serving in the Peace Corps. I'm not married, but I have a lovely apartment in Fredonia out in the country and it's filled with more books than anything else.
Megan (Potter) Allen
Since CCC, I have graduated from PVHS and went on to Cedarville University. I graduated from CU with a bachelor degree in biology. I am currently working as a lab assistant formulating various house cleaning products. I have been married for over three years to my wonderful husband Scott. On January 10th, our beautiful, baby boy Joshua was born.
After high school, I attended the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music where I received a BFA in Theatre Stage Management in 2002. After that I moved to New York City and I have worked on the stage management teams of many productions around the country as well as on Broadway. This fall I will be working on The Radio City Christmas Spectacular for my third year in a row.
CCC was an incredible experience and I’m grateful to have been a part of it during it’s first seven years. I think my favorite memories from Chorale are Princeton, Carmina Burana, and those King Concert Hall Christmas Concerts. I hope I can make it back for the reunion!
Sarah (Eimers) Ball
Since Chorale, I have graduated high school (obviously) and moved to Lima, Ohio and became a research technician, doing biomedical research for companies globally. I really enjoy my job. By the time the reunion comes around I will then be married to a wonderful gentleman named Mar. We have a quaint apartment in a town called Ft. Shawnee with a pittbull/boxer mixed puppy and 2 kitty cats. We work at the same laboratory. I spend a lot of time with my sister and planting my garden, as well as "puppy school" and training horses with my sister. I for one would like to come back to the concert, assuming that my work schedule will allow time off at the time!
I left CCC after my seventh grade year of school. I am now a sophomore in college and will be transferring to SUNY Geneseo in August 2010. I plan on majoring in English and Philosophy with the hopes of continuing on to law school.
Marjorie (Westman) Bohn
Since our last alumni concert, I am still the Elementary Vocal Director at Brocton Central School. I also direct CCC's Junior Chorale and will be taking over the Concert Chorale when Nancy retires this season. I live in Dunkirk with my husband, Andrew, and our three children, Jeremy (6), Marencia (3), and Parker (10 months). I am looking forward to seeing all of you in May.
I am now attending Maple Grove High School. I am in the regular choir and the Voices choir group. I did my first musical "Guys & Dolls" this spring. (5/5/10)
I graduated from Huntington University in Huntington, IN, with a degree in Theatre Performance and a minor in Vocal Performance. I'm currently living in Pittsburgh, PA, where I'm acting and waitressing. I've done about 8 professional and semi-professional shows so far (2 were musicals) and I can't wait to do more!
After chorale I graduated from Silver Creek in 2004. Now I am about to graduate with a degree in Communications from Medaille College. I currently work at Star 102.5 as the morning show producer with Rob Lucas. I am looking forward to the concert and to seeing everyone again!
After CCC, I moved to Louisville, Kentucky. Where I went to high school and graduated in 2006. I am now currently a sophomore at the University of Louisville majoring in voice with a minor in international business. I miss the fun times and fun people in the chorale. The chorale has made me a better person and a better musician!
I graduated from Maple Grove. I'm about to graduate from JCC. I will be attending Mercyhurst majoring in Anthropology. I work at Heritage Green and I play the bagpipes and guitar. Piano is on the backburner for now. I have 2 year old dreadlocks :)
finishing high school and getting ready for college!!!!!!
As of May 14th I am now considered an alumni of the chorale. After seven years my time in the group has come to an end. I'm still a senior at glorious Silver Creek, and I just finished my 3-1-3 year at SUNY Fredonia. Next year I'll be attending SUNY Fredonia, but I still haven't heard if I made it into the Musical Theatre program. (crossed fingers) If you couldn't tell I'm planning to get a bachelor's in Musical Theatre. Around the time of the Alumni concert I will also be auditioning to get into Juiliard.
Well, I got through sixth grade before my voice changed, ending my time with Chorale, but now I'm finishing my Junior year of high school, and I'm heavily involved in the musical and choral programs at FHS.
Since leaving CCC I graduated Silver Creek High School and I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in English Adolescent Education with a minor in Legal Studies at SUNY Geneseo. I'm hoping to move on to law school and pursue a career as a lawyer after my undergraduate work. At Geneseo I'm on the cheerleading squad, Habitat for Humanity, Ski/Snowboard Club and various other community service organizations. I am not currently singing at college, but after realizing how much I truly miss music being a constant in my life, I am hoping to change that fact this following semester. I am looking forward to seeing you all again and singing with the CCC one last time!
Just living in Ohio :)
I will be finishing up my first year at Jamestown Community College and when I finish, I will transfer to either Brockport or Oswego for a degree in meteorology.
After graduating from high school I went on to Genesee CC in Batavia for one year studying education and playing softball for the cougars. The following fall I attended and graduated with an associates from Jamestown CC. I decided then to take a year off from school and have been working in North East and Erie, PA. This fall I will be attending full time at Fredonia studying English and Childhood Education to finish up the last 2 years I have. I am so excited for the concert and look forward to seeing everyone. Its been a long time....
Lauren (Hayden) Fox
I was a member of CCC in it's founding years of 1988 & 89. I graduated from Silver Creek in 1997 and went on to get my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music from SUNY Fredonia. I returned to CCC during my undergraduate years at Fredonia through a conducting internship during their 2001-02 season. I also attended camp those years as a counselor and recreation coordinator. Mrs. Krestic was my music teacher for every level of my education (Kindergarten-college!), and has been a tremendous influence on me professionally and personally. After teaching music at the elementary level in Jamestown and Lakeshore schools, I'm now at home at Iroquois Middle School in Elma, NY. I teach general music and chorus for grades 6-8, as well as direct our annual musicals. I really love my job! I live in Blasdell with my husband Mike, my son Hayden, and our two dogs Hayley and Jade.
After graduating from high school I went on to study Massage Therapy at Trocaire College in South Buffalo for 2 years. I graduated with honors with an Associates degree in Applied Science. I am currently studying to take my NYS Board Exams and National Board Exams to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. After I pass my exams I am hoping to go back to school for a Business degree so that sometime down the road I can own my own Health Spa. I also plan on relocating down south (possibly North Carolina) after I have finished school. As far as my "free time" goes, I have spent some time traveling the country and going to concerts with friends. I cannot wait for a CCC reunion! I do see some people from time to time (brittany-my best friend) but it would be great to sing with everyone again :O)
Working my way through High school(10th grade). Having loads of fun learning about music though. (5/6/10)
After CCC I moved to Atlanta Georgia and spent some time playing drums for various people and on a few different albums. Since then I have moved to texas (August 05') and gotten married (May 12, 07'). I am now finishing up my commercial pilots licence and am on my way to being a flight instructor and an aircraft mechanic. My wife Ashley and I are hoping to move overseas and work with a mission aviation organization in either Africa or Indonesia.
Since CCC I have grown 3 feet, and cut my hair. I am a senior at Silver Creek.
I'm graduating from SUNY Geneseo on May 15th with a BA in Adolescence Educ: Spanish and Spanish, with a Psychology Minor. This summer I'm going to Walt Disney World with the family and then going on a Euro-trip for 2.5 weeks to visit a bunch of my exchange-student siblings! (5/6)
I am a senior vocal performance major, psychology minor at SUNY Geneseo. This coming fall I will stay at Geneseo as a part time student and apply to graduate school for chorale conducting, vocal performance, and vocal pedagogy and see where I get accepted! (5/5/10)
Ah, the Chautauqua Children's Chorale... The most beautiful example of "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone" I know of. I have so many fond memories of singing with the group in Hawaii, of packed music halls... Alas, life goes on, and so does puberty, so now I'm a bass. After leaving, I was an exchange student in Japan for half my senior year of high school, and have since then been at RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) studying Game Design & Development. I have joined the a cappella group the Brick City Singers (which my brother Nicholas was in before me, he was also in the CCC), to quench my eternal thirst for music. (5/17/10)
After the CCC, I spent a year in Germany as an exchange student in lieu of my senior year of high school. Returning to the US for college, I attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, where I was a member of the Brick City Singers a cappella group. Upon graduation, I worked as an audio engineer in Rochester, and then for a video game company doing sound design for the Guitar Hero and Marvel Ultimate Alliance Franchises in Albany. Married to Audrey (DuRocher) in 2007; we have two children: Benjamin (04/2008) and Juliet (04/2009). (5/10/10)
I graduated High School in 2005. Now I work full time in a wonderful daycare in Fredonia NY! (5/10/10)
April (Plucinski) Ita
Since I left CCC I graduated from SCCS. I went to college at JCC and received my Associates in Business Admin. I moved to Southern California and got a job in a Design Center for a home building company for a couple of years. The company closed down and I started taking classes at Palomar College. I'm currently a nanny for a couple of families. I just recently got married and enjoy living in California. The weather is amazing here. I'm looking forward to singing with everyone at the big CCC concert in 2008.
Since my days in CCC, I remained active in Chautauqua Lake's high school music program until graduation. I now attend college at Penn State Behrend, majoring in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry with a focus on Mathematics. I hope to pursue an MD or a PhD after my days at Behrend are over. Music still remains a large part of my life, and always will thanks to the influences of Mrs. Krestic, Mr. Bromsted, and the countless parents and other students that were involved with CCC. You all gave me a lot of great memories that I will always treasure. Thank you!
I have been wrapping up my high school career and filling every spare moment with music. I am currently a member of our school band, jazz ensemble, chamber choir, madrigal singers, vocal jazz octet, men's quartet, and saxophone quartet. I went to Area All-State last year for band and am doing so again this year (on alto saxophone). I will also be attending the All-State Festival as a Bass 1 in the Mixed Chorus. I am really looking forward to the chance to be a singer in this group again!
I'm off to JCC after graduation this summer, where I will get my BA in Fine Arts/Music. (5/5/10)
Since leaving CCC I graduated from Silver Creek in 2002. Went onto SUNY Fredonia for Music Education (lol go figure) . Graduated from Fredonia in 2006 and I filled in teaching elementary music for another former CCC member, Marjorie Bohn while she was on her maternity leave from Brocton. Lucky for me some friends who moved down to Charlotte, NC were looking out for a job for me. One happened to open up at their school and within a matter of days I was driving down for an interview. I now live in Huntersville, NC where I bought a house!!!! I teach elementary music and have a great boyfriend who is stationed at Fort Bragg, NC and is in the 82nd Airborne. I’ll be finishing my Masters in Music at either Greensboro or East Carolina University.
Since leaving CCC I've attended the University at Albany and will graduate this May. (5/5/10)
Umm - no. Let's try again Levi!
Since I left CCC I have graduated from High School and am now a freshmen at SUNY Fredonia. I am majoring in music education. CCC has helped make me the musician I am today. Through CCC I have made so many friends as well as memories, I can't wait to see everyone.
Since I left CCC, I have attended and graduated from Dunkirk High School. I am currently enrolled at JCC for the fall semester of 2009, and am intending to major in Graphic Design. I have stayed active in music since leaving the program and have been pursuing vocal, instrumental and theatrical endeavors. CCC was a part of my life that I will never forget because it has taught me so much. Thank you for all the wonderful years of sharing music and memories.
Since CCC I am finishing my Junior Year in High School after high school I hope to get a degree in OT with the end goal being law school. I miss CCC. It allowed me to express my self with music that I never thought possible. It was great to see everyone at the alumni concert. (6/8/10)
I have been attending Canisius College, majoring in Animal Behavior Ecology and Conservation. I have since worked at the Buffalo Zoo, and have been involved in several animal enrichment projects. Because music is still a big part of my life I play tuba in the Canisius band, and am part of the handbell choir at the Westminster Presbyterian church in Buffalo.
I am currently a junior at Cassadaga Valley and have been pursuing music through the Valley Minstrels and school musicals.
Margaret (Meg) Wagner Maggitti
Since I left CCC, I graduated from Fredonia High School, and am now in my senior year at Ithaca College, with a major in Recreation Management. I still love to sing, although it's hard to get into any groups here, with Ithaca being a music school and all! That being said, I really can't wait to sing with everyone again! =)
I attended FSU as a vocal performance major for a year before changing my major to psychology, however music performance always remained a large part of my life. I am currently living in Fredonia with my fiancé.
I attended Jamestown Community College for over a year but then I moved to Vancouver, Washington. I am currently a manager/trainer at a local restaurant in Vancouver. I don't do any singing any more, but I do keep up my drawing and painting that I so love. If things work out, I may enroll in college out here - possibly in the xray tech field.
Melissa (Gullo) Matney

Well Since these 5 years out of Chautauqua Children's Chorale. I have graduated from Dunkirk High. I will be attending Jamestown Community College. Then Either transfer to Fredonia or Potsdam and pursue in a double major (Vocal and Guitar) for Music Education.
I spent all four years of high school in CCC, and since leaving last year, I have been attending SUNY Fredonia as an undeclared major. I have no idea what lies ahead, but I have been considering a public relations major and becoming a wedding planner. As for music, I never wanted to lose touch with what I have gained throughout the years, so I am an active member of the Fredonia Show Choir
After Chorale I graduated from Silver Creek High School in 2006. I currently work in Fredonia and do photography in my spare time. Music is still a big part of my life and I have a lot of memories from my time in the group.
Hello everyone! I must say it's been awhile since leaving CCC, but I will never forget the love of singing I gained and all the wonderful memories. After leaving CCC at the end of 8th grade, I became very focused on my school work and sports teams, and still continued to sing. Right now, I am a senior at Pine Valley and I am very excited to move on to college. I plan on majoring in architecture, but do not know where I want to go; as of now, my best choices are Illinois Institute of Technology and Bennington College in Vermont. I must say I've missed CCC since leaving, but singing is something I still love to do and continue to do everyday. I hope to be able to participate in the alumni concert this spring! :)

He also has his degree from Cedarville University. We are currently living in Centerville, Ohio which is a suburb of Dayton, Ohio. Right now I am teaching first grade music in a new school in Centerville. I play flute and penny whistle in our church orchestra, direct a K-1 children's chorale, and sing in our church choir. Music is a huge part of our lives! Thanks Mrs. Krestic for inspiring me to be a music teacher!

Well, after successfully navigating the waters of good ol' Fredonia High School and graduating in 2001 I attended a little college in Massachusetts called MCLA.
MCLA(Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts) in North Adams, MA was a fantastic school Business and Fine & Performing Arts (Conc- Arts Management). I helped start a quartet there freshmen year and met my now-fiancé while in the group! (I also write this with 15 days left until the wedding!)... Other than Jazz Band, Band, Choir, Quartet, and (of course) regular classes, I finally made it out in 2005.
After graduating, I attended Suffolk University for my Masters in Business Administration (MBA) for Marketing (class of '07). While doing grad school, I also achieved a job as an Assistant Director of Student Activities at Curry College. I've been building up my agency contact list while bringing a variety of acts to Curry and am considering starting my own business after recovering from the wedding!
Mrs. K- If you know me at all- there should have been a limit to the words we could enter in this box! :) CCC combined with dance when I was younger really "set the stage" so-to-speak for my life now, and I am ever grateful.
"May the Lord Bless you and keep you..."

I graduated from Westfield High School in 2007, and I have since started attending Valley Forge Christian College for a degree in world missions. The college is right outside of Philadelphia - about a seven hour drive from home. While here, I've become involved in the college choir and will be singing in an area church's choir for the school year.

When I graduated from Fredonia High School in June 2005, it also marked the end of my 10th year as a chorale member. I was then faced with having Tuesday evenings and the occasional Saturday morning free. Such freedom did not last long. Part-time jobs filled those hours as I pursued the funds necessary for the independent living and a college degree. I am presently enrolled at Fredonia State University and Jamestown Community College to become state board certified as an Occupational Therapist. My ultimate career aspiration is to be able to assist physically challenged children cope with or overcome limitations. I will forever be grateful for the opportunities and the friendships that C.C.C. mad possible. I continue to utilize music in many of the therapies I develop for my internships.
