Books we Love

Ready Readers!

September:

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom - This is the book we are using to focus our learning.  We have made coconut books, alphabet books, even taken turns being in our class coconut tree.  Kindergarteners are cute little monkeys!

Llama Llama Misses Mama - I love this series from the Vermont author, Anna Dewdney

The Kissing Hand

Miss Bindergarten Gets Ready for Kindergarten - A great rhyming book that makes great connections for children and their own classroom.  We use a Miss Bindergarten puppet to help us with Learning Intentions during the year.

Press Here - You have to check out this interactive book.  The children absolutely adore it and have read it over and over during independent reading time.
