The Sr team that began practicing the first day we returned from the national event, won the Sr regional forestry contest in Spottsylvania County today.

Jacob Phillips, a junior here at the high school, was the top individual in the region.  Ruth Fitzgerald and Kelsy Fitzgerald were also recognized for placing in the top 10 individual in the entire region.  It looks like we are headed back to the state contest in May.

Two hour delay statement:
When weather or other emergency circumstances dictate, a delayed school opening may be published or implemented.  In some instances, publishing a 2 hour delay gives school authorities extended time to further evaluate conditions which may ultimately close school for the day.  Parents and significant others should be alert to related school closing information and timely updates as they may occur.
