The UVA Apprenticeship Program is a 4-year program in the Facilities Management Program at UVA that allows students to learn a skilled trade (plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, masonry or electrical) while receiving full-time university pay and benefits immediately after high school.  Apprentices are typically paid between $23-$40k per year!

We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful oportunity available to Nelson students.  Past Nelson graduates who are currently in the program include George Sheffield and Jesse Carter.

Included in photo are the Program Director, Sarah McComb and three current UVA Apprenticeship students.
