  • Pennies for Patients Starts Soon!
It's that time of year again!  the Pennies for Patients program is starting on Halloween:  October 31!  Already?  We decided it would be better to beat the spring rush and move this great fundraiser to November, ending shortly before Thanksgiving break.  We're excited about this move and all that our kids can do and learn to help kids like them beat cancer.

New to this fundraiser?  Here's the lowdown:  Pennies for Patients is a three-week program for Elementary and Middle Schools where students collect change and raise funds online while learning about service and philanthropy.  Students who participate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Student Series demonstrate how important their contribution and efforts are in the advancement blood cancer cures.

Across the US and Canada, millions of students raise funds in honor of local patients. Friends, family and neighbors can all contribute to the classroom and school totals!  By participating in your school's Student Series program, your child and their classmates will be making a huge difference in the lives of patients with blood cancers, joining millions of students across the country who will raise funds to find cures and therapies for diseases like leukemia and lymphoma.

Thanks for helping our kids raise money and awareness.  Here's to a terrific Pennies Program at NMS this school year!
