I love to teach and have worked in educational settings ranging from pre-K to university levels where I’ve taught in rural, urban and international settings. Stemming from experiences as a learner and educator, I cofounded borderlandcollective.org, a social art project housed at Texas State. I believe education should be relevant, authentic, and engaging and I’m excited to teach at a school like ISA which upholds these values.
When not teaching, I enjoy making music with friends, playing basketball, and doing outdoor things like camping, biking and hiking.
MAT Intern: My name is Matt Aldrich. I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and graduated from Trinity University in the spring of 2013, attaining a Bachelor's Degree in History. I am currently working towards my Masters of Arts in Teaching and will be here at ISA with Mr. Sprott until April. I really enjoy teaching, learning, and working with students of all ages. Some of my other interests include playing and watching soccer, supporting University of Michigan athletics, almost all foods but especially sandwiches, cereal, and pizza, and traveling to see new people, places, and cultures.
