The International School of the Americas is located in San Antonio, Texas. About 450 students in grades 9-12 attend this small, public, magnate school. The school shares a campus with a large comprehensive high school, Robert E. Lee. Students from the NEISD school district can apply as well as students from outside the district. Selection of students is by lottery.

San Antonio is laid out like a large bicycle wheel. The hub of the wheel is the downtown area. There is a river that runs through it. ISA is located a little north of downtown in a residential area.
