Students explore the concept of beauty and the proportions of the body and face.
What is beauty?  Does culture determine our concept of beauty?  What factors determine our concept of beauty?

Comic Proportions

After building skill drawing in proportion and perspective, students examine a variety of comic style and create a frame in which they are a central character.  The frame communicates a message about an issue and may be drawn in any style that they choose.
