Junior year is often perceived as the most challenging year of high school, however many students tell us that keeping focused and organized make it a challenging, but successful year for them. This is the year that many students actively begin to focus on post secondary planning, exploring college or career options and really considering what their futures might bring.

The Guidance staff support this process in several ways, including group seminars to teach you tools for continued exploration and individual meetings to learn more about your goals and to get you started on the planning process.  We also offer a Junior Parent Night in early spring to help parents/guardians understand this and the tools available to them. For those exploring colleges, we use Naviance, a comprehensive college planning tool that provides a plethora of information on colleges.
