The National Undergraduate Bioethics Conference is an incredible opportunity to hear from renowned speakers and leaders in the field of bioethics, and to learn from them first-hand about the pressing issues in the field of health care. Students come away with a newfound interest in the topics presented, and well as in the field of bioethics itself. This conference brings students of all backgrounds from across the nation and unifies them under a common goal to discuss important ethical issues and their practical implications in a format that is educational, interactive, and fun!
The theme selected for the Ninth Annual NUBEC was a consideration of the increasing cultural and societal focus on medicine. See Conference Topics for the recommended reading for the discussion groups. See the Conference Program for the schedule of the conference.
