Catholic Lit Series 2010- Strangers in a Strange Land

The ninth annual Catholic Culture Literature series examines four Catholic American authors. Flannery O’Connor, Walker Percy, J.F. Powers, and Ralph McInerny poignantly engaged American culture while standing at a distance from it. With these lectures, we hope to inspire Notre Dame undergraduate students to read and appreciate the work of these great Catholic luminaries as invaluable to their Catholic formation. Each speaker will devote part of his talk to the complex commitments each of these authors had to their Church and their country.
